Imagine eating food that is poisoned. 

Imagine getting a variety of illnesses decades from now. 

That's what we were doing for most of our lives. 

Conventional farming uses fertilizers and pesticides that remain on the food. 

Do you think a mere rinsing removes the pesticides? 

There answer is no. 

Does the pesticides kill you right away? 

The answer is no but it might harm you decades from now in the form of cancer, and other health illnesses. 

So why do we do it? 

The answer is that we don't see the long term affect until it manifests into the present.

We used to think that conventional food was fine until the birth of our daughter. 

We took a long hard look at what we were doing to ourselves and decided what we could do to improve our health.

We can't change the air we breath but we can change what we feed our bodies.

 You might say that organic food costs 3 or 4 times the cost of conventional food. 

But what is the dollar amount cost of fighting cancer or the actual pain as you age. 

So our goal is to spend a little more money now and have little to none ailments in the future.

For the environment, where do you think the pesticides and fertilizers go? 

The toxins go into the ground and then eventually into our water supply. 

Organic farming by definition saves the environment. 

Organic farming uses no pesticides and uses natural fertilizers. 

Hence, organic farming is gentler on the environment.
